Meek Mill is distributing $500K worth of Christmas gifts to Philly families in need this weekend

Philadelphia native Meek Mill is giving back yet again to families in his hometown community. Teaming up with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and everyones favorite 76ers partner Michael Rubin, Meek will be distributing $500,000 worth of gifts to families in need this Sunday in Philly.
All of this is looped together with Jay Z’s Roc Nation and it’s been reported that the trio will giveaway a bunch of bikes, video games, gift cards, laptops, tablets, dolls, and other Christmas gifts to families.
Meek Mill is also reportedly donating $30,000 to the Philadelphia chapter of 12 Days of Christmas, which is a volunteer organization that assists families during the holidays.
“It’s been a tough year for all of us, but through all the ups and downs, I’ll always do my part to support and give back to the Philly community that raised me,” Meek Mill said. “I remember not having much growing up, so it’s important to use my platform to give back, especially to the families trying to provide for their kids while also dealing with the criminal justice system.”
Cheers to Meek Mill. It’s always great to see Philly natives returning home after massive amounts of success and still giving back to their communities. Last year, Meek held a virtual event and hooked 35 families up with gifts up for the holidays. It’s obviously not the first time he’s done charity work in the city of Philadelphia, but it should always be recognized when it happens.
