The Coppin State Eagles forgot their uniforms, wore Drexel Dragons practice jerseys for game last night

The 1-13 Coppin State Eagles were at Drexel last night to face the Dragons in a men’s basketball game. There are a ton of things that are very unfortunate about the Eagles so I will try to be a nice as possible.
They Forgot Their Uniforms
In last night’s game, Coppin State had to wear Drexel practice jerseys because someone screwed up and forgot to bring their own uniforms. At that point, I simply would have cancelled the game. There is no way in hell I’m wearing the opposing team’s uniform.
Sure, you can blame supply chain, the equipment manager, the coaching staff for making their team play, the list goes on and on. It’s 2021 and COVID is going crazy, I would have even faked a bunch of sick players to avoid wearing the opposing team’s practice jerseys. That’s just terrible.
Coppin State Has Played Two Home Games and 13 Road Games
Look at this schedule?

According to an article published on Sports Illustrated and titled “The College Road Trip from Hell,” Coppin State has played 15 games, including 13 in the season’s first 30 days. All but two of them have been on the road. No team has played more games, or more road games, than the Eagles.
CSU is an HBCU with a 2020 budget of just $4.2 million—for its entire athletic department. So of course, all of this comes down to money. The entire program is basically funded by guarantee games. Bigger schools pay Coppin State at the beginning of the season to play against them so they can beat the crap out of them before conference games open up later in the season.
Christ. 13 road games and only two home games? If I was a player on the team or the coaching staff I would have just quit or transferred at this point. I understand you have to make money to keep the program afloat but at what cost to the players?
It also might explain why they lost their jerseys. Did they leave them at Towson over the weekend? Nine straight games on the road things are bound to get lost. How have they not filed a formal complaint against the NCAA?
Losing Records
Coppin State hasn’t had a winning record since the 2010-2011 season when they finished 16-14. Over the last three seasons, they have gone 9-13, 11-20, and 8-25.
Things don’t get easier for the Coppin State Eagles either. They have six more road games before returning home in late January to face Howard on the 22nd.
