Local website Billy Penn appears to hate Philly sports fans

The elitists at billypenn.com have done it again. This morning they released another finger wagging “opinion” article attacking this city’s sports fans. You may remember being insulted by their tone deaf argument that laid the groundwork for Ben Simmons to claim he was mentally ill.
They’ve come up with a new reason to attack Philly Fans.
This time, Billy Penn is carrying the water of Daniel Snyder and the NFL under the guise of an “Eagles Fan” going by the name of “Johnny Goodtimes.” A fake name so preposterous it can only be the pseudonym of either a drug dealer or male stripper.
So what does “Johnny Goodtimes” have to tell us, his supposed fellow fans?
“Eagles fans seem to want the Washington Football Team punished for catching omicron, but without the realization that before the end of the season, Philadelphia is likely to get smacked by this variant, too. They wanted the WFT to play with 20-some guys off their taxi squad, making a mockery of the game, because they want to get the win and to have a full week off to rest for the Giants.”

Are you kidding me?! This is literally the same bad faith argument being peddled by every blockhead Washington Football Team fan and mouth breathing Philly hater on the internet. Only this clown has the nerve to heap on incredulous Covid shaming on top of it.
This is an “Eagles fan” like Jeff Lurie is a “movie producer.” You can say you’re something all day long but that doesn’t make it true.
True Eagles fans know that the birds got screwed over on this one. They don’t go writing Fake News articles attacking their brothers in green. Want to know how the Eagles got the short end of the stick? Go ahead and ask the players. Or does “Mr. Goodtimes” want to square up with Fletcher Cox and tell him he’s being a cry baby? I’m taking Fletcher every time in that battle.
My takeaway is simply this: BillyPenn.com hates Philly sports fans. They hate the common man of this city. They are dripping with disdain for the city they purport to represent. The next time they write a troll article like this, don’t you dare give them the satisfaction of clicking on it.
