Eagles place third offensive lineman on Reserve/COVID-19 list

A few hours after Nick Sirianni announced he tested positive for COVID-19, the Eagles have placed tackle Le’Raven Clark on the Reserve/COVID list. Clark is the third Eagles player, and offensive lineman to join the list, joining Landon Dickerson and Andre Dillard.
Losing Clark is a harsh blow to the Eagles’ offensive line depth and leaves Brett Toth as their only backup at either tackle spot. It’s concerning to see the rising positive cases amongst the O-line, but hopefully, no more will join them. Philadelphia’s offensive line depth has always been strong, but they are now without a majority of their backups.
Eagles injury report for December 22nd:

The first injury report of the week is always lengthy, especially on a shortened week. Of the nine names listed, just six were injury-related, which is a positive sign. Miles Sanders, Jalen Hurts, and Jordan Howard are likely precautionary. Jordan Mailata is a new name and somewhat concerning since the their depth is depleted in the trenches. Mailata never left the game or favored his ankle, so it was probably a minor tweak.
As the week continues, we will get a better idea of the severity of these injuries, but hopefully, the list remains short. The Eagles will need all hands on deck this Sunday against the New York Giants.
