Klutch Sports ruins Christmas, asks Twitter to retweet their vote for Ben Simmons to make All-Star team

Just when you thought the Philadelphia 76ers and Ben Simmons couldn’t ruin Christmas, Klutch Sports made sure that they would do just that. Earlier this afternoon, Klutch sent out of series of tweets featuring their clients and requesting a retweet to vote for them to make this year’s All-Star game.
Retweet to Vote for Ben Simmons:
Okay so I’m pretty sure these were probably all scheduled tweets to blast out featuring all of their clientele and most likely no one updated them to keep Ben Simmons off the list. Either that, or it’s the ultimate troll job and was designed to spin up some more of what can only be described as never ending drama with Ben Simmons.
Here’s a screenshot of the tweet incase Klutch Sports comes to their senses and deletes the tweet.

Of course, no one in Philadelphia is happy about the tweet. Ben Simmons has killed any type of fun surrounding the Philadelphia 76ers, who continue to struggle without him on the court.
We were cruising right along today. A nice Christmas morning with family, other NBA teams playing throughout the day, and we even have some NFL action this afternoon, but Klutch Sports wanted to make sure that Christmas would be ruined in Philadelphia.
The worst part is, people are Quote Tweeting this, which technically counts as a vote for the All-Star game, so Sixers fans should probably stop doing that. Unless, they think driving up the price tag on yet another All-Star appearance for Ben Simmons will increase his trade value? I doubt that is a realistic possibility anyways.
On the other hand, it would be absolutely hilarious if Ben Simmons made the All-Star Team and getting him selected would be the funniest shit ever. Imagine if he went and played in the All-Star game in a 76ers jersey and then still continued to sit at home during the season? Honestly, if we are going to struggle and watch the Sixers in pain all season, we should just go all in.
In the end, like I said above, my guess is that these tweets were scheduled so far in advance that Klutch Sports just forgot to edit and update them. I mean come on, their entire strategy around getting Ben Simmons was an absolute disaster, so why wouldn’t their ability to market their players be the same?
Merry Christmas everyone. Go throw in some bets, grab another drink, and be ready to shift focus to Eagles vs Giants tomorrow in South Philadelphia.
