Flyers announce three new players entering COVID-19 protocol

Directly following the lift of the COVID-19 NHL stoppage, three new Flyers have now entered protocol and it keeps getting worse.

The Philadelphia Flyers officially announced Monday that Derick Brassard, Scott Laughton, and Carter Hart are in protocol alongside two staff members.

As of now, Sean Couturier and Ryan Ellis still remain in protocol and have yet to complete the process. Kevin Hayes and Morgan Frost are looking to be cleared on Tuesday according to Chuck Fletcher.

A little bit of good news is forward Max Willman has rejoined the team and is available for game action. We’re definitely going to need him with all of the bodies exiting the lineup.

Well, the list is getting quite long and with multiple postponements already happening I fear for the status of the Wednesday game against Seattle. Although it may be for the best given our current lineup, I’d like to see the Flyers finally play again.
