In a game that once could have been exciting but is now almost entirely meaningless, we have the Cleveland Browns taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Monday Night Football.

As of Sunday afternoon, the Cincinnati Bengals clinched the AFC North, eliminating the Browns from playoff contention. For the time being, Pittsburgh is still alive in the Wild Card race as they currently hold the 11th seed, but a lot must happen in order for them to pave a path into the playoff picture.

That continues with a win tonight, however, the main storyline throughout this game is that Ben Roesthlisberger will evidently be playing his last game in Heinz Field.

MNF Predictions

Parx Sportsbook has Pittsburgh as a 3-point favorite coming into this divisional matchup, but I am loving the looks of Steelers Moneyline instead.

The Steelers have had an up and down season but have sprinkled in some very impressive wins throughout and now there is a lot of motivation. Not only is this Big Ben’s last home game before retirement, but as previously mentioned, playoff hopes are still alive if they can win-out.

Also, Mike Tomlin has never had a losing record as the Steelers head coach and they are currently at 7-7-1 so it really is time to keep winning.

The Browns who have nothing to play for may want to step up and play spoiler, but this Cleveland team is injured. I would not be surprised if we see limited snaps from some key starters.

You can never count out a close game in an AFC North battle which is why I am choosing Moneyline over the points, but I am confident the Steelers will get it done tonight.
