Nike to release Phillies-inspired SB Dunk Low sneakers

A few days after Allen Iverson and Reebok released a Midnight Green version of Iverson’s signature shoes, another Philadelphia-inspired design is underway.
This time, Nike is making a baby blue and maroon colorway of their SB Dunk Low sneakers titled “Phillies.”

Sneaker Bar Detroit got their hands on a sample Nike design leaked by Reddit user u/thesneaker_guy. According to the site, this colorway is part of an upcoming “Bubble Gum” pack that includes a high-top version of the Phillies’ sneaker.
The look is basic but perfect. A baby blue shoe with a maroon swoosh featuring a white outline keeps it simple and doesn’t overdo it. It would be the ideal complement to pair with your Bryce Harper jersey when visiting Citizens Bank this summer.
This past summer, Iverson and Reebok released a version of Iverson’s “Question Lows” that included the Phillies’ baby blue and maroon colors.
I’m a far bigger fan of Nike’s rendition, but both shoes are fantastic.
There is no set release date or price, but they are expected to drop sometime this summer. With how losers use bots to buy up and resell all the new Nike designs, hopefully, I’ll be able to get my hands on a pair. I’ll now be patiently waiting for a Kelly-Green colorway I can wear to the Eagles’ parade in February.
