Report: Eagles DC Jonathan Gannon lands second head coaching interview

After being requested for an interview by the Denver Broncos on Monday, Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon has landed his second head coaching interview.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Minnesota Vikings are the next team requesting to interview Gannon:

It’s the second request for Gannon, a rising assistant who was on Mike Zimmer’s staff from 2014-17. He’s also is expected to speak with the #Broncos.
Minnesota fired head coach Mike Zimmer after missing the playoffs for the third time in four seasons. Gannon spent four years with the Vikings as assistant defensive backs coach before moving to the Colts in 2018.
The Vikings’ pass defense was ranked 28th in the league this year, allowing 252.9 yards per game. It makes sense that a coordinator who has had success grooming defensive backs in the past would be on their radar.
Gannon is one of seven head coaching candidates expected to interview with Minnesota.
