2022 NBA All-Star uniforms leak, millions cry out in terror

Jesus Christ. The NBA’s 2022 All-Star Game jerseys leaked earlier today, and they are horrendous. Every year, the league’s design continues to get more and more corporately bland, lacking any sense of creativity. This season’s look is by far the worst possible choice they could have made. I’ll let the leaked images speak for themselves. Take a look.
Remember the days when All-Star uniforms were based on the city they took place in? Even last season, the NBA went with blue and yellow for the Indiana Pacers. As horrible as it looked, as least it had some originality. This uniform set looks like the placeholder when you’re making a player in NBA 2K MyCareer.

In years past, the league had the team’s logos in the middle of the uniform following the change from a Conference vs. Conference to a draft format. This season, they just slapped the NBA logo on the front with a few stars with bland “All-Star” lettering and called it a day.
I don’t understand Nike’s perspective. They came up with really unique designs for their City Uniforms earlier this season, but just shit the bed with these.
What is even worse is NBA will try to sell these for their (now increased) $130 price tag and be irate when fans either buy them off DHGate for $15 or just don’t get them because of how ugly they are.
I feel for Joel Embiid, having to go from one of the best uniform sets in the NBA to this piece of hot garbage in a few weeks. All the more reason to vote Ben Simmons into the All-Star Game. Force him to trot out in this monstrosity while facing boos from the fans.
