A video of Allen Iverson has been circulating around Twitter which showed him being given a poster of himself and the late Kobe Bryant by a young fan at a Houston autograph show over the weekend.

The fan brought the poster to be signed by Iverson, and it turned into a sentimental moment for A.I. who was very close to Bryant during their playing days.

Iverson’s first reaction was, “Man, I need one of these”, and followed by asking the fan if he had any extra posters. Considering that it is right around the two year anniversary of Bryant’s tragic passing, and the friendship that these guys shared, Iverson got emotional when seeing the photo.

As pillars of an era in the NBA, they were fans of each other and never failed to show appreciation to one another. They had parallel careers, being drafted the same year to battling in the NBA Finals, and Iverson has made a couple different tributes to Bryant in the last two years.

Iverson went on to give advice to the young fan, telling him to listen to his dad because Iverson admitted that he didn’t listen to his own parents. It became a wholesome moment from the 76ers legend, another genuine display of gratitude from The Answer, as he continues to be a great representation of this city and its basketball team.
