Multiple Reports: Ben Simmons – James Harden trade trending closer, put other trade talks on hold

We are now just over 24 hours until the NBA Trade Deadline. Over the last few days, numerous reports have come out stating the the 76ers are close to a deal with James Harden, while a bunch of other reports have been released saying that it’s not happening until the offseason. Regardless, here’s where we stand today.
Reports this morning are coming from Brian Windhorst, who as we all know, is a Klutch Sports rat. On ESPN this morning, propaganda rat boy said that James Harden and Ben Simmons talks are “absolutely” happening.
Here’s the Video:
According to Brian Windhorst, a deal is trending towards getting done, and although he can’t say definitely, Windy suspects that a deal will get done. Awesome. Thanks for the pointless update, rat boy. Let’s look at other reporters that aren’t completely compromised.
Meanwhile, Keith Smith tweeted out that the two sides have put other trade discussions on hold, indicating that the two sides are only discussing a trade with each other.
The last significant report is from Keith Pompey, who stated the 76ers and Nets engaged in discussions yesterday and “bickered” over potential pieces to add to a Simmons-Harden trade.
Every report points towards an eventual trade, and it’s hard to imagine something won’t materialize. The move yesterday between the Pacers and Kings likely jumpstarted talks, and the threat of Portland signing Harden outright if they wanted could have scared Brooklyn.
If something doesn’t happen at this point, it has to be the biggest trade blue balls ever to occur. Get the deal done, Daryl. Throw in Matisse Thybulle, Seth Curry, or whoever it takes with Simmons for the Nets to say yes.
Unless, you’re holding out hope that Ben Simmons will return?
As I’m writing this, Keith Pompey just said that Tobias Harris has popped up in trade conversations with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
OKC could be a potential third team that has long been rumored as needed to get a trade for Ben Simmons completed, and they are one of the only teams out there that could take on the contract of Harris.
Things are heating up. Stay tuned.
