Nick Sirianni dominates Kimmi Chex in mini-hoop game during NFL Combine

The Philadelphia Eagles’ mini-hoop continued to be the story of the NFL Combine this afternoon. During the Combine, Nick Sirianni spoke with NFL Network’s Kimmi Chex, who invited him to play a game with her instead of a formal interview.
Chex had Sirianni play what’s traditionally a drinking game, where you try to get the drink all the way to your side by making baskets. Being the true competitor that he is, Sirianni wiped the floor with Chex and even called game on his final shot.
I’m not shocked in the slightest. Sirianni’s competitive spirit is well known, and he doesn’t take any game like this lightly. Chex really gave him a run for his money, though, even falling down at one point trying to get back after a rebound.
What took me by surprise was how quickly Sirianni won. His jumper is pretty good, and I’d take him on the Sixers bench over Furkan Korkmaz or Danny Green in a heartbeat.
We need more interviews like this. It’s far more entertaining to watch coaches duke it out instead of hearing the same politicized speech 20 times in a row about how there’s a bunch of hard workers at the Combine. Give me Mike McDaniels and Kyle Shannahan covering each other on routes or a foot race between Matt Rhule and Bill Belichick instead.
