Kevin Durant praises Joel Embiid ahead of tomorrow night’s 76ers-Nets matchup

Earlier today, Kevin Durant appeared on The Boardroom and was asked about his comparisons to MVP favorite Joel Embiid.
Durant had a lot of praise for Embiid, calling him unstoppable and one of the best players in the league.
It was brought up how Joel once said how only he and KD are the only two players who can play at the level they do, and Durant agreed wholeheartedly.
“He’s really unstoppable. He said something, where he was like I can transform from like Kobe, to Hakeem, to Shaq, to a couple other players and I, was like, ‘Yo, you’re telling the truth.”
These two have been known to talk highly of each other, with Durant selecting Embiid early in the 2022 NBA All-Star Draft. It’s great to see the rest of the league respecting Embiid, who is currently leading the hottest team in basketball.
Earlier this season, Embiid and Durant got into an argument following the 76ers’ victory, with Joel telling KD to go home. Following the game, both sides brushed it off as friendly trash talk and had no ill will towards each other.
I give KD a hard time but at the end of the day I appreciate what he does on the basketball court and honestly, I like his attitude on social media and when he’s on television.
Watching these two go against each other tomorrow night will be must-watch basketball, as Durant will be playing against newly-acquired James Harden for the first time since his trade from the Brooklyn Nets.
