James Harden parties with Lil Baby after getting destroyed by Nets and for whatever reason people are mad about it?

Well everybody, last night was a total shit show. The Brooklyn Nets took care of business last night in Philadelphia, beating the living shit out of the 76ers, 129-100 in Ben Simmons return to the Wells Fargo Center.
Regardless of the circus surrounding Ben Simmons, the Sixers simply didn’t show up. James Harden was 3-for-17 from the floor and finished with 11 points. Not only was Harden’s shot not falling, he didn’t make up for it with other parts of his game, finishing with just five assists and six rebounds.
Tyrese Maxey even worse, only taking seven shots and making two of them, finishing the night with four points. Literally everyone on the team was a mess last night except Joel Embiid who finished with 27 points on 5-for-17 shooting, earning the majority of his points from a 15-for-17 effort on the charity stripe.
Embiid is a killer. Unfortunately for the Sixers, he was the only killer on the court last night. On the other hand, you had Kevin Durant. Kyrie Irving, and Seth Curry dismantling the Sixers on their home court.
- Durant finished the night with 25 points.
- Curry added 24 points.
- Irving finished with 22 points.
If you want to check out a full game recap, our guy Yams has it all for you here. Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out how and why the Sixers didn’t exploit Mr. Burnt Toast Seth Curry last night.
James Harden Parties with Lil Baby
I’m just rambling and my brain is mush after going full throttle last night at the Wells Fargo Center but basically what I’m trying to tell everyone is that James Harden partying with Lil Baby is the least of our worries in the Philadelphia basketball world. K?
Why are people mad at James Harden for partying with Lil Baby after the game in the city?
Did we not know that Harden loves a good after party?
What exactly do people want James Harden to do after playing a bad basketball game? Look, it sucks getting destroyed by the Brooklyn Nets and it sucks even more that it happened on March 10th, the date everyone had circled on their calendar marking the return of Ben Simmons.
I completely understand that.
Last night was a playoff atmosphere at the Wells Fargo Center and sure, if you want to be mad with the 76ers getting blown out at home, I’ll allow it.
But still…
The Philadelphia 76ers are 40-25 on the season and in third place in the Eastern Conference. They are a game behind the Bucks in second place and just three games behind the East-leading Miami Heat.
The Nets are a game above .500 and in eighth place in the East. Obviously with Durant and Irving, they are much better than what their record shows. For whatever reason, everyone on the Nets are using Ben Simmons as their rally cry. How long will that last? My guess is that ended last night.
Brooklyn and Ben Simmons can feel vindicated getting a win in South Philadelphia but at the end of the day, Ben Simmons didn’t even play so really, who gives a shit.
