Eagles sign Howie Roseman to three-year extension

According to Jimmy Kempski, the Philadelphia Eagles are signing GM Howie Roseman to a three-year contract extension through 2025. Roseman has been with the franchise since 2000 and has held the GM position since 2019.
When the 2021 season got off to a rough start, many were hoping that Roseman would be on his way out. But he solidified his status following the Carson Wentz trade, trading back for DeVonta Smith and signing Haason Reddick.
Currently, Roseman is the only GM in the entire league to survive three head coach firings during his tenure with the team.

Fans have always been torn about Howie and love to point towards his failures in the draft as the reason why the Eagles need to move on. Despite that, he has done a great job with the salary cap and the trade market to help put Philadelphia in a position to win.
Before this extension, Roseman’s contract he signed in 2018 was set to expire this year, and many were curious to see what was going to happen.
Philadelphia has a big off-season ahead of them with the 2022 NFL Draft. Despite the extension, things could go south quickly if Howie doesn’t hit on the Eagles’ three first-round picks.
