Tonight’s Game

Nashville currently sits in the first wildcard playoff spot in the western conference and are looking to cement their playoff berth. Roman Josi sits atop the team in points with 79 as a defenseman. Forwards Filip Forsberg and Matt Duchene have eclipsed the 30 goal mark (36 and 34), something the Flyers have yet to do.

Since joining the Flyers, Owen Tippett has been knocking on the door hitting multiple posts. Although the production has yet to follow his chemistry with Morgan Frost is coming along nicely. The Flyers also had him getting some reps on the top powerplay unit on the left wall.

Travis Konecny potted a couple goals against St. Louis with one being vintage TK. Him getting back into form is absolutely pivotal for this franchise going forward and I hope he maintains the momentum.

Cam York has been beginning to produce lately and is gaining more confidence by the day. York is honestly one of the main reasons I still tune in every night.

Nobody is expecting wins at this point in the season, but we all want to see the future shine bright. The infusion of youth up and down the lineup makes watching the team enjoyable again to certain extent. Hopefully the young guns can put up a good performance against the desperate Predators.
