Joel Embiid makes acting debut, appears on The Late Late Show with James Corden

During the 76ers’ latest trip out west, Joel Embiid stopped by the The Late Late Show with James Corden, appearing in a skit where Embiid came to Hollywood looking for acting advice, and Corden played along with it, just using him to get things from high places.
I guess the clip was okay. I’m not really a fan of anything that happens on late night talk shows. They’re all kinda crap and definitely not funny but seeing Embiid get some television time is just fantastic. Embiid seemed comfortable and is obviously a natural content machine so I’ll give him an A+ for his acting debut.
Embiid is such a polarizing individual and the fact that it’s taken so long for him to start making media appearances on any type of shows or movies is pretty ridiculous. Hopefully this is just the start of Embiid being featured as one of the premiere basketball players in the world. An MVP Award would certainly help but as we all know, the NBA truly hates the process.

The 76ers are back in action this Thursday, traveling to Detroit to face the Pistons. With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, every win matters for the Sixers, who are a game and a half out of first place in the Eastern Conference.
