Just don’t make it ugly: Flyers at Rangers Preview

On the second half of a back-to-back, the Flyers travel up to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Rangers. Kevin Connauton will slot in for Nick Seeler and Hayden Hodgson will come in for Zack MacEwen.
Flyers at Rangers Odds
- Philadelphia Flyers +1.5 (+100) | Money Line +240
- New York Rangers -1.5 (-120) | Money Line -300
- Total O/U 6 Goals (-110)
Flyers Projected Lineups
- TK – Farabee – Atkinson
- JVR – Hayes – Tippett
- Cates- Frost- Hodgson
- Lindblom – Brown – Thompson
New York currently sits at 2nd in the Metropolitan Division in a seeding battle with the Pittsburgh Penguins. I fully expect them to come out hot after losing to the Islanders on home ice 3-0 last time out.
Martin Jones will look to stymie the Rangers firepower in Artemi Panarin, Mika Zibanejad, and Adam Fox but I wouldn’t hold your breath. It definitely wouldn’t surprise me if this game got ugly fast for the Flyers.

Morgan Frost Trending Upwards
Morgan Frost has been performing well as of late with 2 points in his last 3 games. He was robbed by Jack Campbell in last nights matchup, but the confidence appears to be growing.

A Bounce Back Game for Ronnie Attard
Ronnie Attard was a -4 in his debut and looks to rebound tonight. You have to cut him some slack as the Leafs offense is world class and the Flyers are most certainly not.
Provorov Looks to Continue Strong Play
The standout performer from yesterday has to be Ivan Provorov. One of the more active games I’ve seen out of him this season and he needs to string a few of those together down the stretch.
NHL Draft Tankathon
Like I’ve said previously this is clearly an evaluation period for the Flyers and they now sit at the 4th worst spot in the entire NHL.
Keep an eye on them draft boards, it’ll be here before you know it.
