Bag Update: Phillies green light fanny packs at Citizens Bank Park after backlash from fans

Great news coming from the Philadelphia Phillies. After extreme backlash, Citizens Bank Park is walking back their anti-fanny pack agenda at the ball park this season.
The Phillies released a new set of guidelines for approved bags at Citizens Bank Park this season and to much surprise, the fanny pack was initially listed as PROHIBITED.
Now, that policy has been updated and fanny packs are APPROVED. Great news for the fanny pack gang. Had no idea there would be such public backlash over fanny packs but man, I’m happy to see there are people out there still fighting the good fight.
Fellas…honestly, I know it’s not really “in-style” anymore but if you’re a guy heading to a Phillies game, I strongly suggest you give it a try. Just think about nothing in your pockets.
It’s a real treat.
As for a certain radio host in the city of Philadelphia, it’s important to keep them updated on bag policies so we can avoid what happened during the Eagles preseason last year. Lets make sure he knows that fanny packs now have the green light. Your city thanks you for your service.
As for the Phillies, they will be back home against the Milwaukee Brewers tomorrow night after wrapping up a 2-5 road trip with a much needed win in Colorado yesterday afternoon.
We’re only 13 games into the 2022 MLB season and I hardly get bent out of shape about April baseball, but the Phillies have some work to do. They are 5-8 overall and 3-7 over their last 10 games, sitting in fourth place in the National League East, 4 games behind the East-leading New York Mets.
