Drew Hanlen is on his way to Philadelphia, Joel Embiid back for Game 3 confirmed?

Quick update here from Drew Hanlen this morning on Twitter. It appears he’s heading to Philadelphia, which can really only mean one thing. Joel Embiid is getting ready to make his return to the 76ers for Game 3 of the second round of the playoffs.
Embiid, who as we all know by now, broke his face in Game 6 against the Toronto Raptors. He suffered a mild concussion and was officially ruled out of Game 1 against the Miami Heat on Monday and Game 2 tonight. Embiid was fitted for a mask last weekend and is expected to make his return when the series heads back to Philadelphia on Friday night.

Joel Embiid back Game 3?
Hanlen heading to Philadelphia likely means that he’s coming to get Embiid ready to ball with whatever mask he’s going to be wearing. Adjustments will certainly have to be made to Embiid’s game. Add in a torn thumb ligament and Embiid is battling through hell right now trying to get back on the court but luckily for 76ers fans, he’s no stranger in playing through injuries.
We now shift focus to game two tonight in South Beach. The 76ers will need to bounce back after a rough second half in Game 1 that led to a Miami Heat blowout win. Steal a game tonight, split the series, and get back to Philadelphia.
Whatever it takes.
