76ers bell ringers get mocked by Tyler Herro, immediately backfires

The Philadelphia 76ers got a much needed win last night over the Miami Heat and while Joel Embiid completely flipped this series on its head, another moment that got lost in the shuffle happened late in the first quarter, with known-dork and sixth man of the year Tyler Herro pointing at 76ers fans after throwing down a two handed dunk.
What we learned shortly after, is that these 76ers fans weren’t your normal fans, but rather the bell ringers during the pregame. First round draft pick Jordan Davis, third round steal Nakobe Dean and free agent, local product Haason Reddick were the Sixers’ guests of honor for the evening.
For whatever reason, Tyler Herro decided to spice up their evening by calling them out after a dunk.
Tyler Herro has been a thorn in the side of the 76ers
Herro has been a menace in this series. He’s played a key role in both of the Miami Heat’s victories. His perimeter shooting had been confounding the Sixers through the first two games.
Of course this crew wasn’t exactly phased by Herro’s act. Haason Reddick almost immediately whipped out his phone to fire off a joke about it while Jordan Davis waited for the game to end to take a jab at Herro.
No response was given by Nakobe Dean. I can only assume he was either in the bathroom when this happened or sitting in a different section entirely. In my extensive review of the game tape I can’t seem to locate him sitting court side. Had he been there I can only imagine he’d have executed a perfectly clean tackle and possibly turned Mr. Herro into a pile of dust.
Honestly I’m thrilled Tyler Herro decided to try to call out the Philadelphia Eagles defense. I can’t think of a better team building exercise than having Jack Harlow’s BFF call you out, only to lose the game while scoring just 14 points on 5-of-15 shooting from the court.
