Down Bad: Phillies fan gets sent to the dog house on live television

The Phillies had two baseball games today, winning game one against the New York Mets by a final score of 3-2. Game two turned out to be much different, with the Phillies getting destroyed by the Mets 6-1 to drop 2-of-3 in the series and fall to 12-16 on the season.
Sadly, the Phillies aren’t the only ones who are down bad right now. During the game, a couple got caught arguing on the broadcast. Lots of comments online are saying this poor guy doesn’t stand a chance and honestly, maybe that’s true, but I don’t want to be so quick to throw her under the bus. Lets take a look and judge afterwards.
Phillies Fan Down Bad
Damn.
Look, there’s a million reasons why they could be fighting during the Phillies game. They are playing absolute shit baseball right now and just sitting through a game like that would test the strongest of relationships.
Maybe we simply have a “you only care about sports” argument here and she’s pissed she has to sit through another Phillies loss in horrible weather? The guy is also wearing a yellow hoodie under his powder blue Phillies jersey. That’s pretty horrible honestly and maybe the girl is just pissed she got caught on the jumbotron with her boyfriend dressed like a total idiot.
Maybe there’s just too much alcohol involved? The first Phillies game started just after noon today and it had to be a long day in South Philadelphia. Regardless, there’s really only one way to handle this situation. Leave.
What in gods name are doing sitting in the rain during a blowout Phillies game arguing for? There’s never a good reason. If she doesn’t want to leave, fine but there’s no way you can just sit there and fight a losing battle.
We all know these types of arguments…
You’re never going to win and honestly, it will probably turn into an all-night fight. The 76ers tip off in literally 15 minutes, man. Get out of there and go find your boys then text her tomorrow while you’re hungover at work. It’s not worth the fight. Save yourself and refocus.
