Mavs-Warriors Game 2: Will Luka and Company steal one on the road?

The Golden State Warriors will take on Luka Doncic in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals tonight. The Warriors took game one with ease, winning 112-87. Now, the Mavericks will look to steal one on the road and even the series before heading back home to Dallas for Games 3 and 4.
The Mavericks got off to a brutally slow start in Game One, scoring just 18 points in the first quarter and never really recovered. The Warriors took a nine-point lead into halftime and walked away with an easy win. Can the Mavs bounce back and steal game two? I wouldn’t go that far but I do like them covering tonight in a close game. Let’s get into it.

Mavs-Warriors Betting Notes
- The Warriors have won their last nine home games.
- The Mavs have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five road games.
- Five of the Mavs last six games have hit the under.
The star for the Warriors in Game One was not named Steph Curry or Klay Thompson. Andrew Wiggins scored 19 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the floor while making 3-of-8 attempts from beyond the arc. Andrew Wiggins is taking pressure off The Splash Brothers, averaging 15 points per game and shooting 49% from the floor in the playoffs.Â
The Warriors did keep their typical balanced offensive attack with seven players scoring 10 or more points in Game One.
- Green: 10 PTS
- Wiggins: 19 PTS
- Looney: 10 PTS
- Curry: 21 PTS
- Thompson: 15 PTS
- Porter Jr.: 10 PTS
- Poole: 19 PTS

Bad Beat Alert
I got absolutely screwed by a blowout last night in Game 2 of the Miami-Boston series.
At the end of the third quarter, Jaylen Brown hit 8+ rebounds, while Jimmy Butler had 29 points and Gabe Vincent had 14 points heading into the fourth. The game wasn’t even close and both Butler and Vincent didn’t see the floor in the final frame, crushing what would have been a massive win. Pain.
Risky but Valuable Player Props
Andrew Wiggins 20+ Points (+200): I really like Wiggins to continue to play tonight. He was 8-of-17 in game one and I really don’t believe 20 points is totally out of the question in Game 2.
Stephen Curry 8+ Rebounds (+320): Curry pulled in 12 rebounds in Game One so let’s ride the stat box here and bank on 8+ tonight.
Reggie Bullock 3+ Threes (+110): Reggie Bullock scored 12 points on a miserable 4-of-12 shooting in Game One. He was 3-for-10 from beyond the arc so I do like the volume here. Nice parlay piece.
Spencer Dinwiddie 15+ Points (+162): Dinwiddie was great in Game One, scoring 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting and 3-of-7 from three point range. The minutes and volume are there.

Prediction
I know the Mavericks got blown out in Game One but I would expect a return to normalcy tonight in Game Two with a more competitive effort. This game should be much closer. The Mavericks have proved they can go stride-for-stride with the Warriors after taking the regular season series 3-1.
The fact that you can get the Mavericks at +6.5 tonight looks good to me. Jump on that and let’s ride.
Pick: Dallas Mavericks +6.5 and U 214.5 (-110)
