Report: Flyers interview John Tortorella, expected to meet with Barry Trotz this week

According to reports, John Tortorella has interviewed for the Philadelphia Flyers head coaching job.
Tortorella and the Columbus Blue Jackets mutually agreed to part ways last May after his contract expired. Torts was the head coach in Columbus for six seasons. ESPN then scooped him as a studio analyst.

As for the poverty franchise that is the Philadelphia Flyers, they are looking to hire their seventh head coach in the last 10 years (lol). The team fired Alain Vigneault last December and interim head coach Mike Yeo rode the sinking ship to the bottom of the Metropolitan Division as the Flyers finished the season in last place with a 25-46-11 record.
Philadelphia went 17-36-7 under Yeo and 8-10-4 under Vigneault this past season.
Flyers to meet with Barry Trotz this week
The Flyers are also meeting with Barry Trotz this week, who was let go by the New York Islanders this offseason. Trotz is third all-time in coaching wins and from what I understand, is likely the top coaching candidate on the market.
