The Phillies Johan Camargo got his 2021 World Series Ring, now he better trash it

Last night, the Phillies kicked off a four game series against the Atlanta Braves with a much needed 7-3 victory. Before the game, Johan Camargo was presented with his Braves World Series ring from last year.
Camargo signed with the Phillies just before the MLB lockout on a one-year $1.4 million guaranteed contract. He spent a good portion of last season in the Braves minor league system, only tallying 18 total at-bats in the majors. Now with the Phillies, Camargo is slashing .260/.321/.380 with a .701 OPS.

Every single Phillies fan despises the Braves, the team that continuously steals the National League East away from them year after year. Nothing hurt more than the 2021 season, where we watched in pain and misery as the Atlanta Braves won their first World Series in 26 years while the Phillies extended their playoff drought to 10 years.
Although I’m happy for Camargo to get his World Series ring, it was pretty awful watching him waive his jewelry into the camera while wearing a Phillies uniform, celebrating the Braves. It definitely helped that the Phillies would go on to win last night’s game 7-3 and Camargo himself had a brilliant moment evading a tag at home plate.
That’s a good start at making up for last year, but not nearly enough.
Proposal: Johan Camargo needs to get rid of his World Series ring as soon as possible
There’s no way that Camargo can be flaunting his World Series ring around the Phillies dugout and locker room. It’s like getting remarried and using the ring your ex-significant other gave you.
Johan, please consider me as your Frodo. I will destroy the ring.
I will form a new Fellowship of the Ring here at The Liberty Line and we will take Camargo’s ring and make sure that it is destroyed and never makes it back to Philadelphia. My one time offer to Camargo is for him to leave me the ring in the visiting team’s locker room in Atlanta tonight. I will retrieve it with the Fellowship will dispose of it and save the Phillies season, ending the decade long playoff drought that has plagued this franchise.
The Phillies organization will thank you, as will your fellow teammates. Plus, I can finally cosplay Lord of the Rings, and relate it back to Philly sports so I don’t look like a total dork in the process.
