The Tobias Harris “BUM” trading card from Panini Flawless is a rough look

Damn. This is a tough look for Tobias Harris. A new image of a trading card from Panini Flawless Basketball box is getting shared all over the internet because of the unfortunate brand/patch placement from the Clippers jersey sponsor Bumble.
This Tobias Harris trading card features him as a member of the 76ers, but with a piece of his old Clippers jersey on top of the trading card. Unfortunately for Harris, it cuts out the “BUM” in Bumble. How anyone from Panini or even Bumble could think this was a good idea is beyond me. It really makes you think about the message they are trying to deliver, right?
Tobias Harris BUM Card
For those unfamiliar, Panini has sports trading cards with pieces of jersey patches on them. There’s currently a Joe Burrow rookie card on eBay selling for $275,000 with a piece of his patch on it and autograph. Once you check out that card and the others shown online, having Tobias Harris with one that says BUM on the front of it is pretty ridiculous.
Panini Flawless boxes are being sold for $20,000 online? What exactly is going on here?
I honestly had no idea cards still held any value. I know that there have been rumors of trading cards making a comeback but I always wrote that off as a way for Fanatics to hype up their acquisition of Topps. Apparently that’s not the case, but don’t be an idiot and spend anything more than a few bucks on a pack of trading cards. I can’t condone that type of behavior.
