Eagles’ Madden 2023 ratings leak on Twitter

A Twitter user has appeared to leak the ratings for most of the Philadelphia Eagles from the upcoming Madden 2023.
The user, @Madden23Leaks, said he found these through EA’s failure to make this data private and even tweeted out emails from EA. I don’t know anyone who would go through this much effort to falsify Madden 23 ratings, and all the proof looks pretty legit.
Philadelphia Eagles Madden 23 Ratings:
- Darius Slay: 89 (90 last season)
- AJ Brown: 88 (87 last season)
- Dallas Goedert: 87 (85 last season)
- James Bradberry: 86 (85 last season)
- DeVonta Smith: 84 (80 last season)
- Haason Reddick: 83 (82 last season)
- Jalen Hurts: 82 (74 last season)
- Miles Sanders: 81 (82 last season)
The most notable takeaways for the Eagles are the massive leap from Hurts and the shade towards Slay. Hurts is ranked as the 15th best QB in the game, somehow ahead of Matt Ryan at 81. It’s not egregious, but I’d have him a little lower to start. Carson Wentz also has the lowest rating of any starting QB at 70.
Meanwhile, Slay somehow fell one overall point and is ranked as the 9th best CB in the game. I feel like somewhere around a 92 is fair for him.
It seems like Slay isn’t a fan of his new rating
At the end of the day, nobody really cares. Madden is a piece of shit game that EA hasn’t changed since 2017. Nobody plays it anymore, and if they do, it’s only for Ultimate Team. EA outright refuses to do face scans or accurate molds of Nick Sirianni, Jason Kelce, and hundreds of others, which is shocking given the $70 price tag.
If you’re one of the ten people who really care, just edit the ratings as you see fit like everyone else does.
