Sixers News: Tobias Harris, Matisse Thybulle among others reportedly on the trade block

With the 2022 NBA Draft just over a week away, the 76ers appear prepared to make some moves.
According to the Inquirer’s Keith Pompey, the Sixers are gauging other teams’ interest in Tobias Harris, Mattisse Thybulle, Shake Milton, and Furkan Korkmaz ahead of the June 23rd draft date. This is in addition to the recently reported trade rumors regarding Danny Green and the 23rd overall pick.
The Sixers are doing their due diligence to compile information in case the opportunity presents itself to make a trade(s). Gauging interest in everyone not named Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, or even James Harden is nothing shocking. This is what Morey is going to have to work with this offseason.
Trading Tobias seems to be the only option Morey has as of now to fix their cap situation and sheer lack of depth. Harris appeared to find his stride as the team’s third option towards the end of the season, but ultimately his contract will never be worth any positive impact he has on the court. Harris will be an unrestricted free agent in 2024, so the task of trading him isn’t as steep as it once was.
Regardless of what Morey publicly states about him, Thybulle isn’t worth anything close to the extension above. Thybulle was virtually unplayable in the postseason and his offensive game is nonexistent.
Luckily for the Sixers, his value appears to be higher around the league than it is within the organization.
