Miles Sanders labels Eagles as an “All-Star Team”, draws comparisons to Vince Young’s “Dream Team” quote

The Philadelphia Eagles almost made it through the month of June without any official player proclamations about what they expect the team to do during the upcoming season. However that changed Miles Sanders decided to share his thoughts yesterday.
As a part of a Q&A hosted by CBS Sports, Sanders talked about a variety of topics, including his youth football camp, his mom helping out with contract negotiations, and how he would love to stay in Philadelphia past the 2022 season.
The thing that caught my eye, was what he had to say as the team as a whole heading into 2022.

Haven’t we learned by now that you simply do not say anything about the team before the NFL season? This has Vince Young “Dream Team” vibes and we all know how that turned out.
Vince Young Dream Team Quote

Saying the team is “unstoppable” and that it’s an “all-star” team means that we’re in for another rough Eagles football season. Shame it happened before training started.
I was just starting to get excited about football season again thanks to the Phillies who continue to find joy in ripping my heart out on a nightly basis.
Eagles PR needs to be working overtime. Let’s keep things simple inside that locker room and only provide the media with quotes about working hard and building team chemistry.
Of course, Miles Sanders has a bit more ground to stand on. Adding AJ Brown, Haason Reddick, and James Bradberry, among others, is a lot more promising than Nnamdi Asomugha, DRC, and Jason freaking Babin. Christ almighty.
