Sam Cassell was giving James Harden the business during gym workout today with Tyrese Maxey
The future head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, Sam Cassell was in the gym today working out with Tyrese Maxey and free agent James Harden.

- SC: Cause you missed motherfucker.Â
- JH: So why do I get the layup?Â
- SC:Â Follow your shot up. Fuck you talking about?Â
- JH:Â You on some middle school shit.
- SC: That’s right!Â
I know everyone in the city of Philadelphia is sick and tired of offseason workout videos thanks to Ben Simmons, but I do like seeing Cassell in the gym with Harden working on midrange jumpers along with Tyrese Maxey soaking in as much basketball knowledge as possible.
I’ll let this offseason video slide, but I do want to know when Harden is going to sign his new contract. The last official report we heard was from Woj last week stating that the 76ers and Harden would meet in the Hamptons last weekend to get the contract signed.
That didn’t happen. Harden was too busy partying with Embiid, Meek Mill, and PJ Tucker at Michael Rubin’s White Party. Not sure what the hold up is on the new contract for Harden but honestly, if it was my decision to sit in a room and talk business or go to Rubin’s party, I’m grabbing all my white clothes and not thinking twice about basketball.
But hey, at the end of the day, we are 1% better baby. That’s what I like to see!
