Lebron James said that if he was Brittney Griner, he would question even coming back to America, then apologizes and blames everyone but Russia

Lebron James released a new trailer for the next episode of The Shop, which is scheduled to air on Friday. In the clip, he questions whether or not Brittney Griner should even come back to America if and when she gets released from prison in Russia.
I’m sure my opinion about Lebron James and his dumb Brittney Griner take will probably be blow way out of proportion, but someone has to say it, even more so after everyone started threatening to kill Drew Smith for saying he respected JT Realmuto for telling Canada to fuck off.
Lebron James is a moron.

Suggesting that Brittney Griner should question whether or not she wants to return to America when she finally gets the hell out of Russia is beyond stupid.
Last week, Brittney Griner plead guilty in a Russian court to drug charges and now faces up to 10 years in prison. Griner was detained in February at an airport in Moscow after vape cartridges were found in her luggage.
I have no idea why Lebron James hates America, but this is just a horrible take and wildly inaccurate.
If Lebron took two seconds to Google the Brittney Griner situation, he would have quickly learned that the the United States have been and continue to try to get Griner out of Russia.
Here’s what NBC News had to say about the United States efforts to free Brittney Griner:
Secretary of State Antony Blinken tweeted after the hearing that U.S. embassy officials attending the trial were able to speak to Griner and deliver a letter from Biden.
“We will not relent until Brittney, Paul Whelan, and all other wrongfully detained Americans are reunited with their loved ones,” he said.
National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson echoed that sentiment.
In a statement, she said: “As we have stated before, we believe the Russian Federation is wrongfully detaining Brittney Griner under intolerable circumstances. At the President’s direction, the U.S. government continues to work aggressively, pursuing every avenue, to bring her home safely to her family, friends, and loved ones as soon as possible. We will continue that work to secure Brittney’s release, as well as the release of Paul Whelan and other U.S. nationals who are wrongfully detained or held hostage in Russia and around the world.”
Wow Lebron. It’s almost like the main issue here, is the fact that Russia refuses to negotiate any type of swap for Griner. Who would have thought?!
Here’s a clip from an AP News Article
Asked about the possibility of Griner being swapped for a Russian jailed in the U.S., Ryabkov, the senior Russian diplomat, noted that until her trial is over “there are no formal or procedural reasons to talk about any further steps.”
He warned that U.S. criticism, including a description of Griner as wrongfully detained and dismissive comments about the Russian judicial system, “makes it difficult to engage in detailed discussion of any possible exchanges.”
“The persistence with which the U.S. administration … describes those who were handed prison sentences for serious criminal articles and those who are awaiting the end of investigation and court verdicts as ‘wrongfully detained’ reflects Washington’s refusal to have a sober view of the outside world,” Ryabkov snapped.
What cannot be argued is that when LeBron James had the opportunity to stand up for freedom with Daryl Morey against China he basically turned into a puppet of the Chinese state media. The billionaire chided Daryl Morey about not being “educated on the situation on hand.”
Maybe we should give Lebron James the benefit of doubt here since it’s just a trailer for the episode but I do have some additional questions for him.
Questions for Lebron James
Where do you suggest Brittney Griner go after she finally gets out of Russia?
Why did you refuse to speak out against the protests in Hong Kong?
What is happening in the rural areas of Xinjiang, China and why is the Chinese government forcing families, children, and parents into slave labor to make your Nike shoes?
Lebron James on China
See Lebron? Not everything is that cut and dry pal, but thanks providing yet another example as to why you are so easy to dislike.
So now Brittney Griner is being held captive by a despotic regime. Who is LeBron James apparently blaming? Not the country that is actively holding her prisoner, that’s for sure.
LeBron issued a tweet addressing the controversy.
Too little too late in my opinion. LeBron James has made it clear he prefers to actively undermine the country that made him one of the richest men in the world.
Why would he do this? Well, let’s just say I’m sure his friends in Beijing loved the trailer.
