Flyers re-sign Morgan Frost to a one-year, one-way extension

The Flyers have re-signed RFA Morgan Frost to a one-year, 800k contract that is one way. Frost is 23 years old and coming off what I believe was his first legitimate look in the National Hockey League.
Morgan Frost had 16 points in 55 games last season, but you should take the state of the team and his 4th line play into account. Especially after the trade deadline, when Frost was given a bigger role and found some chemistry with other young guns.

This is 100% a prove-it deal and I’m sure the 10.2 RFA situation he was in (ineligible for arbitration) helped him take only one year.

I’m glad to see him get a one-way contract and not have to worry about going back to Lehigh Valley after one game. After years of going back and forth, it’s awesome to know he’s coming into this camp ready to be a Flyers game one.
I still have faith Morgan Frost can be a bright spot for us in these dark times, and I’m happy they were able to sign him up to a cheap prove-it deal so I can be happy about something this offseason.
Now prove it.
