Madden 23 ratings for Eagles’ WR corps revealed

Madden 23 ratings have been released for the top receivers in the league, including the Eagles’ pass-catchers.
AJ Brown, the Eagles’ prized off-season catch, has nabbed an 87 overall rating out of 99 on the game. Good for 18th overall in the league at his position.
Personally, I’m hard-pressed to name 17 better wide receivers in the NFL than AJ Brown. I guess we just have to take the nerds at Madden at their word.
AJ Brown was given a 77 strength rating and a 95 for awareness. I understand the awareness score, but Brown only getting a 77 for strength is insulting to anybody that’s watched film of him imposing his will on defensive backs.
Madden 23 Ratings Eagles wide receivers:
- DeVonta Smith was given an 83. Another insultingly low score. He single handedly carried the Eagles wide receiver corps last season.
- Zach Pascal earned a 78 overall rating.
- Quez Watkins was rated 76 overall but with a speed rating of 98. That’s the third-highest in the game behind Tyreek Hill and Jameson Williams.
- Most bizarre of all? Jalen Reagor was given a 74.
Consider this another reason not to get too caught up in these video game stats. The Eagles’ wide receivers group is looking very dynamic this year regardless of what the initial Madden numbers say.
