Preview: Phillies, Nola look for series win vs. Braves coming off heroic 8th inning win on Monday night

The Phillies take on the Braves tonight at 7:05 EST, looking to secure the series win. Aaron Nola (6-7, 3.13 ERA) gets the ball for the Phillies, going up against Spencer Strider (4-3, 3.03 ERA).

Last night was one of the biggest wins of the season for the Fightins, as a Bryson Stott HR broke their post-ASG losing streak and powered the team to a 6-4 win. The Phils are now 50-46 on the season and will look to take the series from Atlanta tonight.

Phillies star Bryce Harper met with team doctors yesterday, and although he didn’t get his pins removed just yet, he’s still on track to return this season. Jean Segura kicked off a rehab assignment in AAA and should be back with the team over the next week or so.
