Injury Report: Jason Kelce to have elbow surgery, no official timetable on return

Eagles center Jason Kelce is set to have elbow surgery ahead of the regular season.
Official word on Kelce’s injury, per the team:
“After trying to work through discomfort in his elbow, it was agreed that a routine cleanout was in his best interest and would also allow for a speedy recovery.”

While there’s no official timetable on Kelce’s return, elbow scopes are typically a 2-4 week recovery process. The Eagles expect him to be ready for the opener on September 11th.
The All-Pro center has started 122 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the NFL.
