Trevelin Queen Free Agency to 76ers
At the start of free agency, Trevelin Queen was on a cruise and had zero cell reception, so he asked his agent to find the best deal available and that he would touch base with him when he finally got cell service back.Â
Queen’s agent agreed on a two-year $3.3 million deal with the Sixers.
The Delaware Blue Coats lost to Queen and the Rio Grande Vipers in the G League Finals last year. Over the three game series, he averaged 34 points, including a 44 point, 7-for-12 from three point range performance in game two.
Side Note: Queen was ejected in the final game after stomping on the Blue Coats logo, which started an altercation with Delaware players Shaq Harrison and Myles Powell. Dog.
Queen averaged 22 points per game in the G League last year and will ideally provide The Sixers with some more depth at the guard position throughout the regular season if he can land himself a spot on the Sixers roster.
