We hardly knew you, Ugo Amadi.

Philadelphia acquired Amadi’s services last Monday in a deal that sent JJ Arcega-Whiteside to Seattle. He spent most of his time as an Eagle in Miami and Cleveland for joint practices; he didn’t even get to know the place.
Amadi, a former 4th-round pick, has experience at both safety and nickel cornerback and is built like a hybrid player who can play in the box. The 25-year-old started in seven games for Seattle last season, recording 54 tackles, one INT and one forced fumble.
Given Amadi’s versatility and the Eagles’ lack of answers at safety other than Marcus Epps, it’s a bit of a puzzling move. Perhaps the team knew Amadi wouldn’t make the final roster cut and wanted to give him a chance to crack the final-53 elsewhere.
