The Dallas Cowboys suffered another blow to the offense this morning, with LT Tyron Smith facing surgery to repair a torn hamstring sustained in practice.

The 8-time Pro-Bowler is slated for a December return — if he returns at all this season. On top of losing Amari Cooper, La’el Collins, and Randy Gregory this offseason, the Cowboys looked poised to take a step back in 2022.

Dallas opened up as early favorites to win the NFC East crown at -120 odds, with the Eagles behind them at +300 prior to the draft. Philadelphia’s stellar offseason coupled with a favorable schedule has since closed that gap, with Dallas now at +140 and the Eagles hot on their trail at +160.
