DeVonta Smith comes clean to the Eagles media, admits that he is suffering from a Wawa addiction

Sad news coming out of Miami, Florida today where the Eagles wrapped up their joint practices with the Dolphins. DeVonta Smith spoke with the media and admitted that he is suffering from a very serious Wawa addiction.
DeVonta Smith Wawa Addiction
Listen, Wawa is the definition of convenience. It’s always there and pretty much always open if you’re out in the suburbs (shoutout Delco). The hoagies are fine, but they are certainly nothing special.
If anything, I would actually rank their meatball subs high on the list of options if you’re making your way home from the bar late night need something to eat. Smitty dissing the meatball sub was uncalled for but I respect his decision to remain loyal to his honey turkey.
That is, of course, if he actually eats Wawa everyday.
Does Smitty really order a honey turkey hoagie from Wawa every day?
I’m not sure but I highly doubt it.
It could be a way to let the typically introverted wide receiver get his name out there with an attempt to relate to the Philadelphia Eagles fanbase, which I don’t hate either.
Any time I get to hear from Smitty, count me in. Pander away buddy, I certainly don’t mind.
On the other hand, the Wawa addiction could explain how Smitty was able to bulk up so much over the offseason, so maybe he is telling the truth. Chad Johnson notoriously ate McDonalds every single day so eating Wawa daily doesn’t seem as crazy as it sounds.
At the end of the day, DeVonta Smith could eat fish straight out of the Delaware River for all I care. As long as he’s still doing what he does on the football field, sign me up for whatever he’s having and I’ll eat it too. Go Birds, baby.
