Allen Iverson shocks the world and declares LeBron James “The One” in recent interview with MMG Sports

One of the worst debates in the history of social media has made its way to Philadelphia 76ers legend Allen Iverson.
In a recent interview with MMG Sports, The Answer, gave his answer (see what I did there?) on who the greatest NBA player of all time actually is and unfortunately, he chose LeBron James the greatest of all time over Michael Jordan.
I’m not sure who was doing this interview or why they would ask Iverson such a basic question when there’s literally a million other things that I would like to hear him give his opinion on, but regardless, here’s the video.

“I’m not going to fight. As much as I love Michael Jordan…. LeBron James is the one. He’s the one.”
Honestly, I was pretty surprised by Iverson’s answer. In the past, he’s been pretty clear that Michael Jordan would always win his GOAT debate and at most, LeBron James would be tied with Jordan as the best to ever play the game of basketball.
Iverson didn’t really elaborate on what made him change his mind.
AI did play against both Michael Jordan and LeBron James. By now, if you’re a Philadelphia sports fan, then you already know the infamous crossover video, where Iverson got the best of Jordan during his rookie season back in 1997.

LeBron’s longevity may be one factor for AI switching up. He is now entering his 19th season and even if he isn’t as dominant as he once was he still remains one of the best players in the league.
Michael Jordan’s run of dominance in the 90s now feels brief in comparison.
It’s also entirely possible that Allen Iverson just simply changed his mind. Believe it or not, you used to be able to have different opinions and the ability to change them. That happened all of the time before social media took over the world and you were stuck with whatever you once said 10 years ago.
Never to me, mind you, I’m never wrong.
However, sometimes people will reevaluate their beliefs and change their mind.
