Rob McElhenney appeared on the Giants Twitter account, promptly yelled GO BIRDS in Eli Manning’s face

The New York Giants tweeted out a teaser video today featuring Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds with Eli Manning.
In the video, the Giants said “coming soon” with some emoji eyes, likely hinting at some type of interview with McElhenney and Reynolds about their hit FX Show “Welcome to Wrexham”, which I HIGHLY recommend to everyone, regardless if you’re a soccer fan.
Rob McElhenney: Go Birds
Side Note: Rob, if you’re reading this, what’s up with the last name bro? It’s a pain in the ass to spell.
Of course, McElhenney, a South Philadelphia native and huge Eagles fan, had to give Eli Manning a nice “GO BIRDS” right in his face before the video ended, which was honestly perfect.
The Philadelphia Eagles Twitter account appropriately chimed in with the now-classic .gif of McElhenney from Always Sunny saying “Go Birds.”.
While the reply Tweet is a nice touch, I honestly am not a fan of the Eagles getting beat on an interview opportunity here, especially leading up to Monday Night’s home opener against the Minnesota Vikings.
I am confident however, that Rob will be very clear on where his allegiances are when sitting down with Manning.
Go Birds.
