Rhys Hoskins Exits Game

Not Good: Rhys Hoskins leaves tonight’s game vs the Marlins with a right hand contusion

Rhys Hoskins got plunked in the hand tonight during the Phillies-Marlins game in the start of the fourth inning.

Rhys Hoskins Hit By Pitch

Hoskins was able to remain in the game and run the bases, but was replaced in the following frame.

Alec Bohm moved over to first base, with Edmundo Sosa taking over duties at third.

Hoskins will now undergo x-rays to see the severity of his hand injury. As for me, I’ll jump off the Ben Franklin Bridge if we are dealing with yet another serious hand injury on this Phillies team.

We’ll keep you posted.
