Matt Daniels walks back “salivating” over Jalen Reagor comments during today’s Vikings media availability

Minnesota Vikings Special Teams Coordinator Matt Daniels went somewhat viral last week after the comments he made about Jalen Reagor joining the Minnesota Vikings.

Obviously, salivating over anyone, in this case, Jalen Reagor, is just setting yourself up for the internet to meme you to death and make fun of you. 

Today during Vikings media availability, Daniels spoke about the comments he made about Reagor. 

#Vikings special-team coordinator Matt Daniels joked that "maybe I took it a little over the edge" with his comments last week about salivating over Jalen Reagor. He said his phone blew up after the comments.

Honestly, I respect it. Daniels seems like a pretty down to earth guy and acknowledged it was funny and joked about it as his phone was blowing up. I respect that. 

That’ll be the only nice thing I say about the Vikings probably ever again.
