The internet couldn’t figure out if Mike Trout attended the Eagles Monday Night Football game last night
Last night was a star studded event in South Philadelphia as Jalen Hurts and the Eagles rolled over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.
James Harden, Bryce Harper, and Bradley Cooper were all in attendance for the game. Harden even got a football courtesy of Darius Slay after the first of his two interceptions on the night.
Still, the internet was VERY confused on whether or not Mike Trout was in attendance last night.
Everyone’s favorite Sports Talk Philly radio station was quick to jump to the conclusion that Harper was sitting next to Trout during last night’s game.
The issue was that Trout and the Angels actually had a game last night against Seattle, but looking at the box score didn’t really help because Trout wasn’t even in the lineup last night.
Here’s a closer look. Is that Mike Trout?
Turns out, that’s actually Bryce Harper, sitting in Mike Trout’s seats, with Mike Trout’s brother.
And people like to say that The Liberty Line aren’t investigative journalists? Give me a break.
That’s top notch work right there ladies and gentlemen. Sure, the Trout brothers look alike but that definitely wasn’t Mike in the stands last night.
Side Note: Shoutout to Mike Trout’s brother for the Eagles hookup even when his brother isn’t in town. Guy is constantly living large. I respect that.
If Mike Trout was smart, he would have sent his brother with the Angels, who are a poverty franchise stuck in nonstop irrelevancy, to go be his fill-in while he traveled home to watch the birds.
Or even better, which might upset some people, just take away Trout’s tickets since he hasn’t demanded a trade back to Philadelphia to play for the Phillies and give them to Bryce Harper permanently.
