Fansided’s Broad Street Buzz Twitter account hacked for over 10 hours with nothing but porn and feet pics due to website’s unwillingness to pay writers

Fansided’s Philadelphia hockey website, The Broad Street Buzz, apparently got hacked over the weekend.
The Broad Street Buzz Twitter account was apparently hacked over the weekend, and whoever did it, posted 10+ hours of porn and feet pictures with captions criticizing the blog for hiring children and adults to write while not paying them.
Broad Street Buzz Twitter Account Hacked

Look, I wouldn’t be caught dead following a Fansided Account. However, thanks to Crossing Broad, this was brought to our attention. Whoever was doing the hacking then directed followers to go to Broad Street Hockey, SB Nation’s Flyers blog instead.
Credit to whoever got control of the account and went crazy with it. It has always been a dream of mine to do this to a “competitor” website and/or social account and someone actually did it. I’m jealous.
Note: I’m fucking joking when I say I want to hack someones account. Obviously.
I would however, suggest scrapping the suggestion of going to Broad Street Hockey. Much like Fansided, that’s just another corporate media website trying to make their imprints in local sports communities.
I’ll play both sides here and also mention that whoever did this is just being a huge baby. If you are trying to get your foot in the door on making content and/or writing about sports, you have to start at the bottom and build up your resume.
Yes, that includes writing for free. The Liberty Line has a handful of people writing content and we do pay them based on their work, so I can’t really relate. We’re not animals like Fansided using child labor.
Note: “We’re not animals like Fansided using child labor.” IS A JOKE. Obviously the idiots over at Fansided aren’t using Child Labor but whoever hacked their account apparently believes they are. I have no idea if it’s true or not but the reason why I have to say that IT’S A JOKE is because some dork from the Fansided legal team decided to send me an email threatening legal action for writing “We’re not animals like Fansided using child labor.“
Lighten up losers. I’m not removing shit. But here’s a copy of your email for everyone to read. Don’t worry, I [REDACTED] your names so you can stop crying. Just like I did in the hacked images above after I was nicely DM’d by the manager of the website.

Tell your legal team to read our Terms and Conditions and kick rocks.

Do yourselves a favor and stick with The Liberty Line and our friends over at Crossing Broad for all things Philadelphia.
No one else matters. Listen to The Liberty Yell.
