Demarcus Lawrence eats his words after his Cowboys fall to the Eagles on Sunday Night Football

Dallas Cowboys fans and players (specifically Demarcus Lawrence) are absolutely pathetic. After a week’s worth of talking shit about the Philadelphia Eagles, they got their asses handed to them last night in South Philadelphia.
The amount of cope from Dallas fans on the timeline this morning is nothing short of embarrassing. For me and Eagles fans everywhere, our Victory Monday’s are being fueled by the tears of Cowboys fans.
While the majority of Cowboys nation is looking for answers this morning, one notable Dallas trash talker has been uncharacteristically quiet. DE Demarcus Lawrence gave the Eagles bulletin board material during the week leading up to the contest, throwing shade on Jalen Hurts and the rest of the Eagles offense.
Demarcus Lawrence talking out of his ass:
Lawrence’s smack talk set the stage for the biggest contest of the season for both squads.
Heading into Sunday night, Lawrence had a whopping three sacks in 14 career games against the Birds. After Sunday’s matchup, Lawrence still only has three sacks to his name when facing Philadelphia.
The Cowboys edge rusher managed to post a season-high eight combined tackles in Week 6, but he posted zeroes across the board in the pass rushing department, accounting for just three pressures on 17 pass rushing reps. By the end of the night, Lawrence earned a 58.1 Pro Football Focus pass rushing grade, the worst mark of any Dallas pass rusher Sunday night.
He also had a handful of ‘Whoops!’ moments on the night, including this complete whiff on Hurts.

And who can forget this ‘Oopsy Daisy!’ from Lawrence.
Gotta keep an eye out for those pesky snipers, Demarcus Lawrence
After the Cowboys cut the lead to three in the fourth quarter, Jalen Hurts did what he’s been doing all season. He led the Eagles on a methodical 13-play, 75-yard touchdown drive that wiped seven and a half minutes off the clock, essentially sealing the victory for Philly.
On the night, Hurts went 15-for-25 (60 percent completion percentage) for 155 yards and two touchdowns, along with a 104.6 passer rating. The Eagles signal caller became the first QB to post a passer rating higher than 100 and throw multiple touchdowns against the Dallas defense this season. A defense that has faced Tom Brady, Joe Burrow, and Matthew Stafford in 2022.
So, what was Demarcus Lawrence’s grand take away from Hurts’ performance? As you probably could have guessed, this jabroni isn’t giving up an inch on his Jalen Hurts stance.

Sure, Hurts is a good quarterback, but he’s not on the level of the best player to ever play the position. Yeah, no shit.
Like I pointed out earlier, Hurts actually performed better against Lawrence’s defense than Brady did.
If Demarcus Lawrence wants to continue this schtick and wallow in his own misery, who cares. All that matters is what the scoreboard indicates. And if my eyes are correct, the scoreboard last night read: Eagles 26, Cowboys 17.
The Eagles won, the Cowboys lost, and Demarcus Lawrence made himself look like an idiot on more than one occasion during the game. Bad night to be a Cowboy.
