San Diego reporter gets his first taste of the Phillies Red October, describes it perfectly

A reporter from San Diego got his first Philadelphia sports experience last night outside of Citizens Bank Park in South Philadelphia.
San Diego Reporter on Phillies Fans
“They’ll yell profanities at you and then they’ll say ‘welcome to Philly’ and they’re the nicest people in the world.”
It’s always great when a reporter from out of town just gets in the mix AND actually can describe Philadelphia sports fandom perfectly.
Sure, Philly fans can be a brutal bunch and everyone on the outside looking in loves to tell us how horrible we are (No one likes us, we don’t care) but credit to this guy for explaining the full experience from start to finish.
Obviously, we’re going to talk shit on you while you’re here covering an opposing team during Red October but at the end of the day, welcome to the City of Brotherly Love.
Not to mention, it was just PERFECT timing with the guy in the background. Couldn’t write it up any better if you tried.
City of Brotherly Love baby
