Bryce Harper gets a vote of confidence from fellow Philly sports legend
Brandon Graham and Bryce Harper have a few things in common. For starters, they’ve both etched their names into the Philadelphia history books with two of the most memorable sports moments in this city’s history.
BG had his moment a few years back in Super Bowl 52, stripping Tom Brady in the waning minutes of the game to all but seal the first Super Bowl title in Eagles franchise history.
It never gets old. Ever.
During Graham’s bye week, the Phillies punched their ticket to the World Series, thanks in large part to this incredible moment from MV3.
Man, does it get any better than that? Whoever’s chopping up the onions needs to relax.

Greatness recognizes greatness. If No. 3 pulls off another all-time hit once the World Series begins, I want BG in the parade. It would only be fitting.
It’s hard to put into words just how historically great Bryce has been during this remarkable postseason run for the Phillies.
In the NLDS, Harper batted .500 with two home runs and five RBIs. Against San Diego in the championship series, he batted .400 and smacked two more home runs while driving five runners home. All in all, Harper enters the World Series batting an absurd .419 with an OPS of 1.351 in the postseason.
For context, that has literally NEVER been done before. We are witnessing absolute dominance on the MLB’s biggest stage.
It’s a special time to be a Philadelphia sports fan. BG’s Eagles are 6-0 and the lone undefeated team remaining in the NFL, and Harper’s Phillies are four wins away from bringing home the third World Series title in team history.
