Old Gritty videos continue to troll cheating Houston Astros as fans cry on Social Media

You know things are going well in the city of Philadelphia if I’m writing a positive article about the Philadelphia Flyers and their mascot Gritty.
More than a few old videos are floating around social media featuring Gritty banging on a trashcan that has a Houston Astros logo on the side of it. Obviously, these were in reference to the fact that the Astros were basically caught red handed stealing signs before the 2020 season by banging on trash cans to notify their hitters of the next pitch that was going to be thrown.
Again, all of this came to light before the 2020 season, the COVD year in Major League Baseball where the season was shortened to just 60 games, and ultimately, let the Houston Astros off the hook with a few lost draft picks and some hefty fines.
Worth Noting: The Philadelphia Phillies are 1-of-7 teams that the Houston Astros did NOT travel to during the 2020 season.
Old Gritty Videos Continue to Troll the Houston Astros
The videos seemed to hit some nerves of Houston Astros fans on Twitter, who started sharing the video stating that Gritty, a gigantic, orange, furry abomination with goggly eyes banging on a trash can at a hockey game is “out here chasing clout”.
As you can see, they’re clearly not the smartest bunch down in Houston. Also, if your Twitter name is (100 Emoji) Cocky Astros Fan (100 Emoji) then that immediately tells me a few different things about the type of person you actually are.
First, you’re incredibly insecure. Second, you’re not cocky if you have to literally tell people that you are cocky. Third, you’re mad at a hockey mascot that’s sole job is to entertain people at sporting events, meaning you’re a total idiot.
Tell you what, if all Astros fans have is yelling at old videos of mascots and posting pictures of Jalen Hurts in response to being called cheaters and total losers, then Philadelphia might be a LOCK once the World Series begins Friday night.
Pathetic.
